Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

Early Years Growth is committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information responsibly.

This Privacy Policy explains what information I collect, how I use it and the choices you have regarding your personal data.

Who I am

Early Years Growth provides professional support, resources and development opportunities for Early Years leaders and childminders.

For the purposes of UK data protection law, Early Years Growth is responsible for deciding how and why your personal information is used.

You can contact me at:

Email: hello@earlyyearsgrowth.co.uk
Website: earlyyearsgrowth.co.uk

Information I may collect

Depending on how you interact with Early Years Growth, I may collect information such as:

  • your name

  • your email address

  • your job role or professional setting

  • information you choose to provide through enquiry, waiting-list or sign-up forms

  • information provided when you purchase or take part in a service

  • correspondence you send by email, WhatsApp or other communication methods

  • information required to manage payments, bookings or memberships

I do not intentionally collect personal information about children through the website.

If you receive professional support from Early Years Growth, please avoid sharing identifiable information about children, families or staff unless it is genuinely necessary.

How I use your information

I may use your personal information to:

  • provide resources you have requested

  • manage waiting lists and enquiries

  • respond to messages or questions

  • provide services or memberships you have purchased

  • communicate with you about your account, booking or membership

  • send emails or updates where you have agreed to receive them

  • manage payments and business records

  • improve Early Years Growth services and resources

  • comply with legal, tax or regulatory obligations

My lawful basis for using your information

The lawful basis I rely on will depend on why I am using your information.

This may include:

Consent – for example, where you choose to receive marketing emails or updates.

Contract – where I need your information to provide a service you have purchased or to take steps you have requested before entering into a contract.

Legal obligation – where I am required to retain or use information to meet legal, accounting or tax requirements.

Legitimate interests – where it is reasonably necessary to operate and improve Early Years Growth, provided your rights and interests do not override those interests.

The ICO recommends identifying the appropriate lawful basis before processing personal information.

Email communications

If you sign up for a free resource, such as a Monthly Reflection, I will use the information you provide to send you the resource and related information you have requested.

Where you have consented to receive further news, resources or marketing communications, I may also contact you about Early Years Growth services and updates.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting:

hello@earlyyearsgrowth.co.uk

How your information is stored and shared

I use trusted third-party services to help operate Early Years Growth. These may include:

  • Wix – website hosting and website services

  • MailerLite – mailing lists, forms and email communications

  • payment providers used to process purchases or memberships

  • email, calendar and business administration providers

These organisations may process personal information on my behalf in order to provide their services.

I do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Where service providers process information outside the UK, appropriate protections will be used where required by data protection law.

How long I keep your information

I will only keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected.

For example:

  • mailing-list information will normally be kept until you unsubscribe or ask for it to be removed

  • enquiry information will only be retained for as long as it remains relevant

  • information relating to purchases and business transactions may need to be retained for accounting, tax or legal purposes

Retention is one of the pieces of information UK GDPR privacy notices are expected to explain.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to:

  • ask what personal information I hold about you

  • request a copy of your information

  • ask for inaccurate information to be corrected

  • ask for information to be deleted

  • request that the use of your information is restricted

  • object to certain uses of your information

  • request transfer of your information in certain circumstances

  • withdraw consent where consent is the lawful basis being used

You can make a request by emailing:

hello@earlyyearsgrowth.co.uk

The rights available can depend on the lawful basis being used.

Cookies

The Early Years Growth website may use cookies and similar technologies to enable the website to function and to understand how visitors use it.

Where required, you will be given choices about non-essential cookies through the website's cookie settings.

Changes to this policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Early Years Growth, the services I use or legal requirements.

The latest version will always be available on the Early Years Growth website.

Complaints

If you have concerns about how your personal information has been handled, please contact me first at:

hello@earlyyearsgrowth.co.uk

You also have the right to make a complaint to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK regulator for data protection. The ICO specifically says UK organisations should tell people about this right in their privacy information

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: August 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to services, memberships, resources and other support provided by Early Years Growth.

By purchasing a service, joining a paid membership or otherwise agreeing to work with Early Years Growth, you agree to these terms.

1. About Early Years Growth

Early Years Growth provides professional support, reflection, guidance and practical resources for Early Years leaders and childminders.

You can contact Early Years Growth at:

Email: hello@earlyyearsgrowth.co.uk
Website: earlyyearsgrowth.co.uk

2. Nature of the support

Early Years Growth provides independent professional support based on experience across Early Years leadership, management, quality improvement, training and inspection.

The support provided is intended to help you reflect, make informed professional decisions and develop your own practice.

Early Years Growth is not Ofsted and does not act on behalf of Ofsted or any other regulatory body.

Nothing provided through Early Years Growth should be interpreted as:

  • an Ofsted inspection or judgement

  • a guarantee of a particular inspection outcome

  • legal advice

  • financial or accounting advice

  • formal safeguarding advice in place of your statutory safeguarding procedures or designated safeguarding routes

You remain responsible for decisions made within your setting, provision or business and for ensuring that you meet all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

3. Leadership Growth membership

Leadership Growth may include, depending on the membership package purchased:

  • a monthly 1:1 Leadership Growth session

  • WhatsApp support between sessions

  • a personalised Leadership Growth Plan

  • monthly reflections

  • practical tools and resources

  • professional discussion and guidance

  • occasional additional resources or member benefits

Exact inclusions and the current price will be clearly explained before you join.

4. Childminder Growth membership

Childminder Growth may include, depending on the membership package purchased:

  • WhatsApp support

  • practical professional guidance

  • monthly Childminder Drop-In / Q&A sessions

  • Monthly Childminder Reflections

  • practical tools and resources

  • light-touch reviews of short documents or communications

  • access to member resources

  • reduced-price access to selected additional support

Exact inclusions and the current price will be clearly explained before you join.

Childminder Growth is an independent support service and is not a childminder agency or regulatory service.

5. WhatsApp support

Where WhatsApp support is included in your membership, it is designed for:

  • quick questions

  • professional sounding-board support

  • brief guidance

  • checking your thinking

  • support with everyday Early Years or business situations

Messages will usually be responded to within one working day, during Early Years Growth working hours.

WhatsApp support is not a 24-hour or emergency service.

It must not be used as an emergency safeguarding service. Where there is an immediate safeguarding concern, you should follow your own safeguarding procedures and contact the appropriate statutory service.

More substantial work may need to be booked separately.

6. Document and resource reviews

Where light-touch document reviews are included, these may cover items such as:

  • parent letters

  • fee-change communications

  • short policy sections

  • risk assessments

  • forms

  • brief professional communications

This does not include full policy-suite reviews, extensive document rewrites, detailed audits or substantial consultancy work unless specifically agreed.

If a request falls outside the scope of the membership, I will let you know before undertaking any chargeable additional work.

7. Sessions and appointments

Please make reasonable efforts to attend booked sessions at the agreed time.

If you need to rearrange a session, please give as much notice as possible.

Where possible, sessions cancelled with at least 24 hours' notice can be rearranged.

Late cancellations or missed appointments may be treated as used sessions where it is not reasonably possible to refill the appointment.

However, I understand that genuine emergencies and unexpected situations happen, and these will be considered reasonably and individually.

8. Membership payments

Membership fees are payable at the price agreed when you join.

Where membership is charged monthly, payment will normally be collected automatically using the agreed payment method.

Your membership benefits remain available while your payments are up to date.

If a payment fails, I may contact you and temporarily pause access to membership services until payment has been resolved.

9. Founding member prices

Where a founding-member price has been offered, that price will remain available for as long as the member maintains continuous membership, unless the terms of the founding offer state otherwise.

If membership is cancelled and later restarted, the current membership price may apply.

10. Cancelling a membership

You can cancel your monthly membership.

Any cancellation arrangements that apply will be made clear when you join.

For a straightforward monthly membership, I would suggest you ultimately operate this as:

Cancellation before the next payment date means no further monthly payment will be taken. Membership continues until the end of the period already paid for.

That is much cleaner than imposing a long notice period, and UK guidance warns against cancellation provisions that create an unfair imbalance between the business and customer.

Any statutory cancellation or refund rights that apply to your purchase are unaffected by these terms.

11. Refunds

Payments already made are generally non-refundable once the relevant membership period or service has begun, except where:

  • you have a legal right to a refund

  • Early Years Growth is unable to provide the service agreed

  • a refund is otherwise agreed in the circumstances

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions removes any rights you may have under UK consumer law.

12. Changes to membership

Early Years Growth may occasionally make reasonable changes to membership content, delivery methods or resources as the service develops.

I will aim to give members reasonable notice of any significant change that materially affects their membership.

Any proposed price increases for existing members will be communicated in advance.

13. Resources and intellectual property

Resources supplied by Early Years Growth are for your own professional use unless otherwise stated.

You may use them within your own setting or childminding provision where appropriate.

You must not, without permission:

  • resell Early Years Growth resources

  • upload them to public resource-sharing websites

  • distribute them as your own work

  • reproduce them commercially

  • remove Early Years Growth branding and present the resource as your own creation

You are welcome to adapt practical ideas to suit your own provision, but copyright in the original resources remains with Early Years Growth.

14. Confidentiality

Professional conversations will be treated respectfully and confidentially.

However, confidentiality cannot be guaranteed where:

  • disclosure is required by law

  • there is a serious safeguarding concern

  • there is a serious risk of harm

  • information must otherwise be disclosed for legal or regulatory reasons

When discussing children, families or staff, you should avoid sharing identifiable personal information unless it is genuinely necessary.

15. Online sessions and technology

Online sessions may be provided through platforms such as Zoom or similar services.

You are responsible for having a suitable internet connection and device.

Occasional technical problems can occur. Where a session cannot reasonably take place because of a technical issue, I will make reasonable efforts to rearrange it.

16. Results and outcomes

Early Years Growth cannot guarantee any specific result from professional support.

For example, support cannot guarantee:

  • a particular Ofsted judgement

  • improvement in a staff member's performance

  • a particular business or financial outcome

  • successful registration or regulatory approval

The purpose of the service is to provide practical guidance, reflection and support to help you make informed decisions.

17. Free resources

Free resources provided through Early Years Growth are intended for professional development and reflection.

Unless otherwise stated, they are for personal/professional use and must not be resold or redistributed commercially.

18. Email communications

Where you specifically request a resource, join a waiting list or make an enquiry, Early Years Growth may contact you in connection with that request.

Marketing communications will be handled in accordance with applicable UK privacy and electronic marketing rules.

Where consent is relied on, it should be given through a clear positive action and kept separate from acceptance of general terms and conditions.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

19. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any aspect of an Early Years Growth service, please contact:

hello@earlyyearsgrowth.co.uk

I will aim to resolve concerns fairly and reasonably.

20. Changes to these terms

These Terms & Conditions may be updated occasionally as Early Years Growth develops or where legal or operational requirements change.

The latest version will be available on the Early Years Growth website
