About Jessica

Hello, I’m Jessica, an Early Years specialist, experienced leader and the person behind Early Years Growth.

I created Early Years Growth because leadership and childminding can sometimes feel incredibly lonely.

Everyone deserves a trusted person they can talk things through with, ask honest questions and know they have someone in their corner.

My career in Early Years has given me experience from many different perspectives.

I’ve owned and managed my own nursery, led teams, supported children and families, and worked as a SENDCo and Designated Safeguarding Lead. I've also worked as a childminder

I’ve also worked in quality assurance, training and inspections.

I hold a First Class degree in Early Childhood Studies and a Level 3 Award in Education and Training, but much of what I bring to my work has been shaped by real experience,  navigating difficult conversations, managing change, supporting teams and carrying the responsibility that comes with running an Early Years setting.

Having experienced both nursery leadership and childminding myself, I understand that each brings its own pressures, challenges and moments of doubt - and how valuable it can be to have someone trusted in your corner.

Outside of Early Years, I’m a mum to my two girls.  Life is busy, full and rarely perfectly organised,  which has only strengthened my belief that support should feel realistic, flexible and human.

Early Years Growth brings together my professional experience and the kind of support I believe makes the biggest difference: having someone you trust in your corner.

I won’t tell you how to run your setting or expect you to fit into a one-size-fits-all programme.

I’ll listen, ask the right questions and help you make sense of what’s happening.

Together, we’ll turn worries and ideas into realistic next steps that work for you, your team and the children and families you support.

You’ll receive warmth and encouragement, but also honest, practical guidance when you need it.

I know what it feels like to be responsible for everyone else while quietly wondering whether you’re making the right decisions yourself.

I also know that leaders and childminders don’t always need another course, generic checklist or pile of information. Sometimes, you need someone who will listen without judgement, understand the situation and help you find a practical way forward.

That’s what I want Early Years Growth to provide: honest conversations, thoughtful guidance and support that feels genuinely personal.

You don’t have to figure everything out alone.

Whether you’re leading a team or running your own childminding setting, I’d love to hear more about you, what’s happening right now and how I can support you.
